By applying for and participating as an Advisor in the CanadianSME Small Business Hub Community (“Community”), you (the “Advisor”) signify your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to abide by these Terms, please refrain from using our services or participating in the Community.
To qualify as an Advisor, you must be at least 18 years of age or older and have full authority to bind the business entity you represent to these Terms. Your agreement to these Terms will be regarded as a representation of your eligibility.
As a member of the Community, Advisors are eligible to utilize a variety of resources and benefits. These include but are not limited to:
Full Website Access & Personalized Dashboard
Complete access to our online platform and a personalized dashboard that enhances your interaction and navigation on the site.
An opportunity to connect with other professionals to foster a community that promotes collaboration and learning.
Event Participation & Promotion:
Access to register for exclusive events, the ability to synchronize these events with your calendar, and a platform to promote your own events.
Space to detail your products and services, boosting your business visibility to a wider audience.
Course Monetization & Availability
The opportunity to generate income by offering and selling courses. You can provide both free and paid courses to cater to a wide range of needs.
You can submit an unlimited number of articles on the Community website and up to two articles per year in the CanadianSME Small Business Magazine.
Tools to organize and classify your content across different topics, improving searchability and user navigation.
Capability to enrich your content with videos from platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo.
A one-time opportunity for a feature of up to 600 words in the CanadianSME Small Business Magazine, prepared by our team.
A chance to be interviewed via email for a feature in the CanadianSME Small Business Magazine.
A 10% discount on booth reservations at events such as the CanadianSME Small Business Expo and Small Business Summit.
Small Business Podcast Feature
An opportunity to share your story on the CanadianSME Small Business Podcast.
Advisors bear the responsibility for all content they upload to the Community, such as videos, articles, and product listings. You must ensure you have all necessary rights to the content you upload, and that the content does not infringe on the rights of any third parties, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
The Advertorial Feature is a one-time benefit available to each Advisor. Our team at CanadianSME will create a 600-word piece that highlights your business. You agree that the content must adhere to our guidelines and cannot promote illegal or harmful activities.
The email interview will be carried out by a member of the CanadianSME team. You agree to provide truthful and accurate information during this interview. Any misleading or false statements could result in penalties, including possible termination of Advisor status.
The Small Business Podcast Feature is a one-time platform to share your business story and provide valuable insights to a wider audience. You agree to provide content that is both relevant and valuable to the small business community and adhere to the guidelines and standards set by CanadianSME.
As an Advisor, you have the opportunity to create and sell courses through the Community platform. You are solely responsible for ensuring the content of these courses is accurate, valuable, and does not infringe any third-party rights or applicable laws. You also agree to handle any disputes or issues that may arise from the purchasers of your courses directly.
As an Advisor, you will receive a 10% discount on booth reservations at the CanadianSME Small Business Expo and Small Business Summit. This discount cannot be combined with any other promotional offer and is non-transferable.
As a Community member, you are encouraged to foster connections with other professionals in the Community. Any networking must be done in a respectful and professional manner. Actions such as harassment, threats, or any other infringement on the rights of other members will not be tolerated and may lead to termination of your Advisor status.
CanadianSME reserves the right to terminate an Advisor’s access to the Community and their benefits at any time for any reason, including but not limited to, violations of these Terms. Upon termination, the Advisor agrees to cease using any Community resources or claiming any associated benefits.
CanadianSME may revise these Terms at its discretion. Your continued participation in the Community after modifications to these Terms indicates your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically to stay updated on any changes.
These Terms and all disputes or controversies arising out of or relating to these Terms, their subject matter, or their formation, shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Canada, without giving effect to any principles that may provide for the application of the law of another jurisdiction.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions and joining the Community as an Advisor, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the above Terms and Conditions.
