Nadine Spencer is a Jamaican-born Canadian businesswoman, activist, and philanthropist, currently serving as CEO of BrandEQ Agency, a global marketing and communications firm specializing in social change and diversity-focused branding. With over 20 years of experience, Nadine is known for accelerating strategic growth and brand visibility for clients across industries, leveraging a data-driven and culturally intelligent approach.
She also leads BLCKS Enterprise and the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA), championing economic equity and systemic change for Black entrepreneurs in Canada. Nadine’s career includes launching Canada’s first world-class food event, the Delicious Food Show, and collaborating on initiatives at the United Nations and various government programs addressing anti-Black racism.
Nadine advocates for strategic storytelling, inclusive marketing, and breaking systemic barriers. She focuses on empowering women and Black entrepreneurs to build lasting business impact, emphasizing ownership of narrative and leadership with excellence. She serves on York University’s Board of Governors and is recognized for her community and mental health advocacy.
