Terri Drover is the Director-General of the Health Products Stewardship Association (HPSA), a national non-profit in Canada managing medication and sharps take-back programs. With over 30 years of executive pharmaceutical experience, she leads HPSA’s mission to protect Canadians’ health and the environment from improper disposal. Passionate about both healthcare and ecological responsibility, Terri has held multiple board roles and volunteers in community care. During the pandemic, HPSA adapted by shifting to remote work and maintaining program accessibility through enhanced IT systems, emerging more resilient despite sector-wide challenges, including risks of non-profit closures as noted by the Ontario Non-profit Network.
