Chinyere Eni is a passionate leader focused on helping communities thrive through financial enablement. Starting her career at RBC as an “accidental banker,” she has overcome personal challenges, including childhood cancer, and has a strong commitment to community service and inclusion. Eni has led teams delivering strategic financial advice to businesses and entrepreneurs and currently chairs the Governance Committee for Wilfrid Laurier University Board of Governors. She is also actively involved with Indigenous and African communities in Canada and is committed to mentoring the next generation of women leaders. Recently appointed head of RBC Origins, she focuses on advancing reconciliation and fostering sustainable relationships across Canada’s diverse communities. Eni emphasizes the importance of representation, highlighting systemic barriers faced by women and Indigenous peoples and advocating for shared responsibility in overcoming them. Her leadership combines financial acumen with a dedication to social impact and inclusion.
